CONCERTS AND MUSIC FESTIVALS 12 January FOMO Festival will feature Nicki Minaj, Rae Sremmurd and Lil Pump, and supports arts charity Heaps Decent and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. 19 January Sydney Symphony Under the Stars, conducted by Ben Northey with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, will perform much-loved classical and contemporary compositions by Giacchino, Rossini, Strauss, Tchaikovsky and more. 24 February Ultra is Australia’s premier music festival, boasting the world’s top EDM DJs with unparalleled stage designs, multiple stages, and a wide variety of food options. Click here for more information CULTURE AND ART 10 – 27 January As part of the wider Sydney Festival, Sydfest 2019 presents a range of events to be held throughout the city during January. It all kicks off with a weekend of circus fun in Parramatta’s Prince Alfred Square including performances from Mallakhambindia, Heliosphere and an opening parade. Aerialize will also host circus skills workshops for all ages and abilities, along with outdoor Flying Trapeze workshops. The 27th Tropfest will be held at Parramatta Park and is set to feature some of the best established and aspiring filmmakers in Australia and from around the world.
