Alongside the increasing number of events and exhibitions taking place in our rapidly-maturing city, the hard infrastructure that supports it is also expanding and equally deserves a mention. In our feature story we look at the key city- shaping projects that will transform Parramatta in the coming years into NSW’s second capital. However, behind the concrete and cranes, it’s the people who make up the fabric of our culture, so we talked to two young local entrepreneurs. Mitch Orr, co-owner of Darlinghurst restaurant ACME, who found his feet right here amongst Parramatta’s food scene, and Alex Aslan, creator of entertainment and dining hub Alex&Co., share their stories.
