Elsewhere, we learn the story of Circa Espresso, which is a Parramatta institution on Wentworth Street. Its founder, Aykut, wanted to bring something quirky and original to south Parramatta, and built his little café in the alley between two terrace houses. Speaking of Wentworth Street, Tailor & Co. is located right next door to Circa Espresso. It’s owner, John-pierre Georges, is one of a dying breed of tailors who are making made-to-order and semi-bespoke suits in Sydney. Mercedes-Benz Parramatta talked to John- pierre as part of a new series for the magazine – People. He opened up about how different elements, such as cloth, construction and fit, come together to create a perfect suit. We will be talking to interesting and influential people from around the inner west each issue for People, so let us know if there is someone who has an insightful perspective to share. For our Destination section, Rebecca Vayonitis takes us to the Maldives, an idyllic destination of crystal-clear water and pure relaxation. It is such an incredible place.
